"We will get the pizzas in" - Charlton Athletic boss Jones hoping for transfer deadline day business despite win at Leicester City
Welshman handed debuts to two new recruits as Addicks open up six-point gap on Championship relegation zone
Nathan Jones is hoping that there are more arrivals at Charlton Athletic before the winter transfer window closes on Monday.
The Addicks are six points clear of the Championship bottom three after today’s 2-0 victory at Leicester City.
Sonny Carey and Lyndon Dykes were on target in the first half. Both goals came after Foxes centre-back Caleb Okoli was sent off for pulling back Miles Leaburn in the 15th minute.
Jones handed debuts to Conor Coady, who started in a holding midfield role, as well as bringing on Stockport County loanee Jayden Fevrier in the 65th minute.
Charlton are looking to add Vojvodina centre-back Collins Sichenje to their ranks on a permanent transfer.
