'We want Kayne Ramsay to sign a new contract at Charlton Athletic'
Addicks boss emphatic on centre-back's future plus he reveals whether he would sanction Isaac Olaofe exit this month
Nathan Jones has spelled out his desire to secure Kayne Ramsay on a new contract.
The Charlton Athletic centre-back, 25, has been missing from the squad since coming off with an injury in the 1-0 win over Oxford United on December 20.
Some supporters have voiced fears that the Championship club could be set to sell the former Southampton youngster, who has proved a highly shrewd signing from Harrogate in February 2024.
Ramsay has made 63 appearances for the Addicks - 36 of those coming last season as they won promotion via the League One play-offs.
His current terms have 18 months left to run.
Jones was quick to outline his stance when asked if there was the possibility of a January exit.
