Nathan Jones has described Tyreece Campbell’s contract extension as “a wonderful coup” for Charlton Athletic.
The 22-year-old winger has signed improved terms that mean he is set to be on the Addicks payroll until the summer of 2030.
Campbell has started the new season in red-hot fashion, scoring in all of their matches.
And Jones told South London Sport: Charlton Athletic Edition that the fact the Jamaican international, who had been inside the 12 months of his old contract, is now able just to focus on playing in his natural position in the current campaign helped with negotiations.
