Charlton Athletic manager Nathan Jones has revealed there are a number of transfer options being explored to fix their left wing-back issue.
The Addicks lost first-choice starter Josh Edwards at the end of September. The Scottish defender had to be replaced by Macaulay Gillesphey in the 24th minute of the 3-0 home victory against Blackburn Rovers after suffering an ankle issue.
Left-sided centre-back Amari’i Bell had a period deputising in the role but has also been ruled out in the current campaign with hamstring strains. The former Luton Town man pulled up abruptly in the latter stages of Saturday’s 5-1 FA Cup loss to Chelsea.
Tyreece Campbell, a makeshift option down that side, was also forced off against the Blues.
