Nathan Jones talked post-match about the fact that Charlton Athletic are “jinxed” when they play at Wrexham, citing injuries as majorly impeding their prospects of getting a result on their last two visits.

But fixtures just generally between these sides have not been that productive for the south Londoners, who have won one of the 11 most recent league matches.

Charlton’s last win over Wrexham was a 1-0 success in February 1982, Steve Gritt scoring in SE7. But for the purpose of context it also needs to be noted that there have only been three meetings since that date.
