Charlie Kelman has ended his wait for a goal. Not just since joining Charlton Athletic in the summer, but also in the Championship.
The striker, who celebrates his 24th birthday today, had not hit the net in 35 previous matches at the level. But we have mentioned on this website before that you have to factor in that he got far fewer minutes while on the books of QPR and often not in his favoured position.
Addicks boss Nathan Jones has shown far more faith in Kelman. Kelman has started 10 of their 13 Championship matches, usually partnered with Tyreece Campbell.
