Can you even call Leicester City’s match-winning goal an opportunity?

What was the xG? Well, that pretty much tells you everything. Abdul Fatawu’s left-footed strike from the right of the penalty area - leaving Thomas Kaminski with no chance - had an xG of 0.03.

Charlton Athletic manager Nathan Jones described it as a “one-in-a-million” finish.

It was one of only two shots that Leicester had on target in the afternoon.

The Addicks have looked so defensively strong in the Championship that you felt like it was always going to take something special to breach them. And that is exactly what Fatawu conjured up.
