Great piece Rich, I was 14 in 1980 but still remember my 1st upset at my club getting relegated to the Third Division! So upset but a great following season with the promotion feeling and jubulation after the sorrow as a young lad ! 🫢🙏🙏🦶
Remembering Mike fondly in that promotion season…I hadn’t realised it was Colin Powells last season with us. I remember going to see us beat Huddersfield 1-0 and Powell doing the 1-0 sign with his fingers 🤣🤣 great times
