Charlton Athletic manager Nathan Jones has talked about the process of narrowing down their summer transfer window targets.

The Addicks still have one Championship match left to play, at Swansea on Saturday, before the campaign is over.

But last weekend’s 2-1 victory over Hull City means that the 2025 League One play-off winners can press ahead with their recruitment plans now that any relegation worries have been put to bed.

Twelve months ago Charlton had no such certainty about what division they would be in the following season as they headed into the play-offs.
