Nathan Jones has given his verdict on Oliver Skipp’s first six weeks as a Charlton Athletic player.

The 26-year-old Leicester City midfielder signed on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day.

Skipp has made six successive starts for the Addicks, coming straight into the midfield due to injury to Nathaniel Chalobah, but there were some ironic cheers from travelling supporters when he was replaced in the 75th minute of Tuesday’s 2-2 draw at Burnley.

Skipp has averaged the most tackles per 90 minutes (3.5) in the Charlton squad.

But there appear to be sections of the Addicks fanbase left unimpressed by the former Tottenham youngster.
