I think it would have been more realistic if Charlton had sold a player - which effectively is TC ( can’t think of anyone else who would move for anything really that significant). Fact Nathan mentioned at weekend that TC close to a new deal makes me think it won’t happen.
I just can’t see it. He would have to be on a strikingly large wage packet and the add-ons and fee Palace would be asking for I can imagine will be eye-watering! The romantic in me thinks the match between CAFC and JRS worked well last time and he could relight the fires of his progress here. Football’s a funny game, so let’s see I guess…
