I still can’t quite see how wages and fees would add up to the spend last season. At moment I’d estimate that fees dropped by at least £5-6million on last summer, which would be a lot of wages to outstrip that.
It’s an interesting one isn’t it. Especially with Carter saying we will be there or thereabouts in terms of an outlay in transfer fees. Do you think that the RW will be some sort of a statement signing in that case? Worried Gavin may have slipped up a bit by saying that.
