Kayne Ramsay says that he will have a celebration ready if he makes it back-to-back Championship matches with a goal at Watford tomorrow.
The defender scored in Tuesday night’s 2-2 draw at Burnley. It is only the former Southampton and Harrogate Town player’s second goal for Charlton Athletic since signing in February 2024.
Ramsay reacted quickly to hook home from close range in the 50th minute after Lloyd Jones had managed to make first contact with Danny McNamara’s corner.
The 26-year-old ran to the corner flag before being hugged by Jones and Billy Koumetio.
“I’ve got something coming if I score again,” Ramsay told South London Sport: Charlton Athletic Edition. “Part of me was thinking that it was only 1-1 and we needed to get the ball.
