Charlton Athletic midfielder Ibby Fullah has signed a new long-term contract before heading out on a season-long loan to MK Dons.
The Addicks confirmed this afternoon that the 19-year-old, born in Lewisham, had extended his deal until the summer of 2029.
Fullah has scored twice in 14 first-team appearances for Charlton but had not been in their matchday squad for any of their fixtures this season.

MK Dons have drawn all three of their League One matches. It is their first campaign back at the level after winning promotion in April. They head to Wycombe tomorrow.
Fullah has never had a loan move prior to this one. He made his senior debut for Charlton in May 2025, coming on as a substitute in a 3-1 win over Burton Albion. He started and scored in their EFL Cup ties against Stevenage and Cambridge United last season.
His two starts in the Championship last season came at Wrexham and Birmingham City.
“It’s a pleasure to sign a new deal with my boyhood club,” Fullah told Charlton’s official website. “It’s another step in the right direction and I just can’t wait to kick on.
“I’m very grateful for the belief the staff have shown in me to sign a long-term contract and I can’t wait to show the fans what I’m capable of doing.
“Getting the opportunity to go on loan will help me and my development at this stage of my career and will help shape me from being a boy into a man. It will give me that experience in men’s football.”
Addicks boss Nathan Jones added: “Ibby is an excellent young player who we’re confident has a very bright future ahead of him, and we’re delighted that he has signed a new contract with the club.
“He’s now at an important stage of his development where regular playing time is crucial, and this loan will give him the opportunity to get that at a good club, where the style of football should suit his game.
“We’ll be keeping a close eye on his progress throughout the season and hopefully he’ll return to us having had a really productive and positive experience.”
MK sporting director Liam Sweeting said: “We’re really pleased to bring Ibby to MK Dons. He is a young player who has already gained valuable experience at Championship level, and his progression at Charlton, including being named their Young Player of the Year last season, demonstrates the potential he has.
“Ibby is an exciting attacking player who can play in a number of positions and has shown a real ability to carry the ball, play forward, create opportunities and threaten the goal. At 19, there is still a lot of development to come, but he already has experience of senior football and we believe he can make a positive contribution to our group.
“The key for Ibrahim now is to get exposure to regular first-team football and continue his development in a competitive environment. We believe MK Dons and the group we have here provide a really good environment for him to do that, and we’re looking forward to supporting him throughout the season.
“We’d also like to thank Charlton for their cooperation in getting the deal done.”
Charlton have also sanctioned Nathan Asiimwe joining Salford City on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old right-back spent the previous campaign with AFC Wimbledon, featuring 42 times in all competitions.
Asiimwe started in the Addicks’ 5-1 EFL Cup loss to Tottenham last week.
“I’ve had to be patient but now I’m here, I’m buzzing to get going, excited to be involved in what the plans are for the future,” he told Salford’s official website.
“I’d describe myself as hard-working. I’ll give my all for the badge and get up and down the wings. I like to one-v-one defend and help out in both boxes. When I get in the final third I try and take my man on, get my cross in, get some assists and try to get a goal or two.
“For me it’s more than just development, I’m looking further than that and hopefully if I can help the team achieve its goal this season, who knows what the future can bring?”
