I couldn’t hear exactly what he was yelling but it appeared to happen after I heard, shall I say, some negative comments seemingly aimed at Campbell and Fevrier. Jones was livid but his outburst silenced the criticism.
Was about Tyreece not getting on the end of a cross… Nathan snapped back he was playing wing back… actually a lot less unedifying than seemed to be the case. Was actually a football thing.
Yeah believe what Callum says is spot on. I can’t see the near touchline but after that I did lean forward and see Jones pat TC on the back as if to say “you’re doing fine”.
Hugely frustrating result on Saturday, we could have been 3 up before they even had a real sniff. I genuinely think a draw would have been enough to keep us out those certain conversations. But a win on Saturday and we are safe, just typical of us to make hard work of it.
I’m looking forward to it… the way looks forward to a root canal… I still think the math doesn’t work for us to go down… but until we have that win it’s going to feel precarious
Those Opta predicted points totals seem so show that we still need to pick up points, if Oxford are going to finish on 49 points. I'd be very pleasantly surprised if we made it to 54, a win and 2 draws seems very optimistic, based on current form.
