Charlton Athletic manager Nathan Jones has explained Ibby Fullah’s absence from the matchday squad at Watford on Easter Monday.
The 18-year-old helped spark the Addicks into life after being subbed on in the 65th minute in Friday’s 2-1 loss to Bristol City at The Valley.
It looked a safe bet, based on that performance, that Fullah would be in the 20-man party for the fixture against the Hornets.
But instead the attacking midfield options on the bench were Jayden Fevrier, Harvey Knibbs and Joe Rankin-Costello.

Fullah has made 12 appearances this season and scored in both of their EFL Cup ties.
