Luke Chambers had one key objective when he signed for Charlton Athletic in the January transfer window - emphatically answering any questions over his ability to return from a back injury.
The 21-year-old left wing-back has started all four Championship matches since signing on loan from Liverpool.
Chambers has progressively increased his minutes. He played until half-time in the 4-0 loss at Millwall and then featured for 65 minutes in the 2-0 victory against Leicester City, assisting Lyndon Dykes’ goal.
The former England U20 international clocked up 75 minutes against QPR, a 0-0 draw, before completing the full match in midweek as Charlton secured a 1-0 victory over Stoke City.
Chambers had not played a competitive game since March 2025 prior to featuring for the Addicks.
And he has provided more detail on the injury issues which had disrupted his development in recent seasons.
