In years gone by it was stark to see how few players we had contracted so good to see the position of strength where we can command fees for players not at Champ level and who will be wanted at the lower levels. Nice to see the club run well after years of neglect.
Surprised they have not triggered the one year option on Godden. 35 in the summer but a natural goalscorer which we have been missing throughout the season. A good pre season and he’s firing again
If we are truly going to be ruthless and create the headroom to enable a higher quality recruitment then I expect quite a number in the retained list to be sold over the next three months or so.
No massive shocks… assume they’re negotiating long term deals with TC and Ramsey… Cov is a bit weirder… Dykes I don’t hate the idea if he’s willing to not start every week…
I would think that TC isn't going to sign a long term deal otherwise they would have agreed it now for the benefit of both sides (increased wages now and resale value), Investing time in him now is a gamble from the clubs perspective?

I'm not sure i would sign Dykes. Ideally Leaburn can improve and fulfil that role more cheaply and effectively.
