Charlton Athletic have been unsuccessful in appealing Ashleigh Neville’s red card.
It means the summer signing will miss the next three matches, starting with tomorrow’s derby at The Valley against London City Lionesses.
Full-back Neville, 33, was sent off for a high challenge on Ruby Mace just before the hour mark in Saturday’s 1-0 loss at Everton. The fixture was scoreless at the time of her dismissal.
Substitute Hawa Cissoko was also dismissed for two bookable offences, both fouls on Holly McNamara.

“We did appeal it and unfortunately they didn’t agree,” Hills told South London Sport: Charlton Athletic Edition. “I guess it was a little bit clumsy. Ash knows she went in to win the ball, I think it looked worse than what it actually was.
“I think she now looks at it and it is one we can probably just run across and not compete for the ball, just tried to get our bodies in the way.
