Charlton Athletic’s wait for a first Women’s Super League point continued as Manchester United’s speed, movement and control condemned them to a sixth successive league defeat at The Valley.

Ella Toone’s spectacular opener provided the standout moment in a deserved 3–1 victory, but United’s superiority extended well beyond one exceptional finish.

The visitors’ passing repeatedly stretched the Addicks, whose brief response through Leah Davidson could not disguise the difficulty they faced containing the visitors.

Andrea Medina and Julia Zigiotti Olme also scored as Eva Olid’s side secured a third consecutive league win, moving them to fifth in the standings on 10 points.
