Charlton Athletic boss would still love deal for Bree to be on table: "He didn't want to go back to Southampton"
Nathan Jones also answers whether Lyndon Dykes has extension option in his SE7 contract plus the possibility of player exits before transfer window deadline
Nathan Jones has confirmed that he still has a desire to see James Bree in a Charlton Athletic shirt - despite his recent return to Southampton.
The 28-year-old spent most of the first half of the Championship season on loan with the Addicks but the final fixture of that arrangement was Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Sheffield United.
Bree was not part of Southampton’s matchday squad for their 1-0 win against the Blades on Wednesday night.

Charlton have signed Harry Clarke on loan from Ipswich Town to boost their right-sided options. Bree was switched to the left for the first half of Saturday’s match before being replaced by Tyreece Campbell - an attacking change due to United being down to nine men.
Bree is out of contract at the end of June.
