Nathan Jones has reacted to the news that Greg Docherty is training with Preston North End.
Charlton Athletic parted company with their club captain at the end of the summer transfer window.
North End, bottom of the Championship table, have confirmed that they are running the rule over Docherty, who was part of the Addicks’ League One play-off winning squad.
The Scot, 30, played 90 times for Charlton with his departure on September 2 described as “mutual consent”.
