Charlton Athletic boss Nathan Jones asked about lack of midfield control in Championship matches, fact his managerial campaigns are never "dull" and Lloyd Jones missing out on EFL Team of the Season
Addicks have chance to be only side to do double over big-spending Ipswich Town
Charlton Athletic are 23rd for possession in the Championship this season - with only Oxford United spending less time on the ball.
The Addicks have averaged 42.9 per cent for that metric over the course of their 43 matches.
Directly above them are Derby County (44.3) and Sheffield Wednesday (45.0).
Oxford, in the third relegation spot in the division, are bottom with 39.7.
So how do Charlton get more control of the ball, particularly in midfield? On Saturday they badly struggled for any fluency against the Owls. They made 176 accurate passes. Their opponents had a 82 per cent success rate on their 426 completed passes with the Addicks on 66 per cent.

But manager Nathan Jones has explained why defensive stability - the club are joint fourth in the league for clean sheets (13) - had to be a priority after regaining Championship status.
