Nathan Jones is continuing to back and believe in Tyreece Campbell’s quality as the Charlton Athletic attacker looks to end his lengthy wait for a goal.

The Addicks manager is a big admirer of the Jamaican international, who is on a 30-match scoring drought for club and country.

Campbell, 22, has assisted two goals in the Championship this season.

Campbell has predominantly been utilised as a secondary striker since the start of the previous campaign. He got nine goals in all competitions in the 2024-25 season but the first of his seven League One strikes did not arrive until December 21.

The last time he netted was in the 1-0 victory at Cambridge United on April 12.

Campbell’s career has kicked on massively under Jones and he has made 142 first-team appearances for Charlton - the most of any current player in the squad.
