Nathan Jones has confirmed he is an admirer of Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi but has declined to discuss whether a move for the former Charlton Athletic loan star could be in the offing.
Addicks fans have long held out hope that the attacker could make a return to SE7 after a stellar stay in the 2022-23 League One season. Rak-Sakyi scored 15 goals and collected nine assists.
One of the Ghana international’s close friends is Tyreece Campbell. Jones revealed on Saturday, following the 2-1 victory over Derby County, that the Addicks are in advanced talks over a contract extension for the 22-year-old academy product.

Rak-Sakyi is in the final year of his Palace contract and the indications are that the SE25-based club are ready to listen to offers.
The player has previously had loan spells at Sheffield United and Turkish outfit Caykur Rizespor.
Charlton remains the club that he has played the most first-team football for - 49 matches. He was named their Supporters’ Player of the Year.
