Nathaniel Chalobah and Matty Godden are back in full training for Charlton Athletic ahead of Saturday’s home game against Norwich City.
Striker Godden, 35, has not featured since the opening fixture of the Championship season. He scored the opening goal of the new campaign in a 3-1 victory at Cheltenham Town.
Midfielder Chalobah has been absent for the last eight league fixtures. All of the Addicks’ wins this season have been when the 31-year-old has started.

Charlton’s squad options for the visit of the Canaries, who have lost their last six games in all competitions, will be boosted by the arrival of Solly March.
We reported earlier this week that a deal for the 31-year-old, a free agent after leaving Brighton, was at an advanced stage.
The 31-year-old winger underwent his medical on Wednesday.
“We will have news on that, I’m sure, in the very, very near future,” said Charlton boss Nathan Jones, when asked by the club media if there was any update on a signing. “We would like to bring one in, it’s a position that we’ve been looking at.”
Charlton are unbeaten at home but have gone eight matches without a victory, their longest spell without a three-point haul under Jones since he was appointed in February 2024.
The absence of Chalobah, in particular, appears to have been keenly felt.
