Bree, that’s the magic number. Well actually the number is 10. Ten signings made by Charlton Athletic in the summer transfer window.
The Addicks confirmed yesterday evening that they have signed James Bree on loan from Southampton until the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old defender arrives exactly a month after the last addition - Harvey Knibbs making the move to SE7 on August 1.
Interestingly, the fact that the deal is only relatively short term will do little to quell talk that Charlton want to add Shinnosuke Fukuda to their ranks at the start of 2026.
