I'll take a "boring" 0-0 first half performance every single time when we're away from home and the underdogs. NJ knows that if we are in the game going into the second half, the fitness levels, energy, defensive solidity and game changers mean that we have a bloody good chance of getting the win. Game plan executed to absolute perfection last night and what an unreal 15 minutes of goals. Great to see Leaburn and TC running their back line absolutely ragged after great work by Tanto and Kelman in the first half wearing them out.

I'm at Hull on Saturday so fully expecting us to run out of steam at the weekend so enjoying this one as much as possible for a few days 😂

Good article, definitely agreewith the commentsvhere.

The change to the Academy lads, Leaburn and TC, made a massive difference. They really play off each other well, and bringing them on when the opposition defenders were tiring totally unsettled the back line. That was a proper gem of a tactical switch.

I do think our starting pair, Tanto and Kelman, need to play more narrowly. Tanto looks wasted out wide to me. Playing closer together would make it much harder for defenders to double up on Kelman, and just as importantly, it would open up a load more space out on the flanks for our wing-backs to drive into.

Good article Rich 👍I agree stick with boring if we come away but certainly boring could only be perceived last night by a one side tractor boy as they could beach our defence. Solid defensive first half and yes we could have scored. Have to say TC outstanding off the bench and ran them ragged. Personally prefer him coming on like that. The impact was massive and put them on the back foot and saw their wing backs at full back and didn’t allow them to overload midfield
