How much damage can be done in 11 seconds? It turns out to be quite a lot.

There are sickening ways to lose a football match and then there are really sickening ways to lose a football match. Monday night’s 2-1 defeat at Portsmouth definitely is filed in the latter.

When Harvey Knibbs headed in Charlton’s equaliser the clock was on 95.57. Nearly a minute over the extra five added by the fourth official.
