Matty Godden is extremely good with numbers as he is fully qualified as an independent financial advisor.
He also showed this afternoon that he is still very good at finishing chances inside the penalty box - with his 79th-minute goal clinching a 2-1 victory over Sheffield United at The Valley.
Want some other numbers to crunch?
How about 26 - the amount of goals that Godden has scored for Charlton Athletic since signing from Coventry City in the summer of 2024.
Or 35. Goals scored by him in the Championship in 131 matches at that level.
Eleven. The unwanted run that the Addicks were on without a victory before they defeated the Blades to quieten down speculation over a potential managerial change.

Millenic Alli, one of four changes to the starting line up, scored in the 12th minute. Jordan Ayew equalised before the half-hour mark.
Below are pretty much all the quotes from Nathan Jones after today’s match.
How do you feel after a massive win?
“Relief is a big thing. I’m emotional, because of everything that has gone on. That was more like us from start to finish. We were front-footed, aggressive and had real control in our play. Tactically we were really good and implemented the plan really well.
“I’m proud of the group and staff today because they have had to contend with so much…so much noise and pressure, especially being at home. We’ve lost five or six people this week through injury and what-not.
“Apart from Wembley it is probably the favourite memory I’ve had at this football club, just for the importance of it. It was wonderful.
“These are the standards we set. We do the basics well and are always in games. We have been unlucky at home - we’ve had two goals disallowed at key moments here, QPR and the Norwich game. We ended up drawing and losing from those things.
“We have had to contend with some catastrophic refereeing performances. I thought Stoke away was the worst performance that I’ve ever seen but today probably just beat that.
“We constantly have to over-achieve because we know our budget is in the bottom three and we’ve not been in it….we’ve never been anywhere near it, really. Even now, we have been on the worst run of my football career and we’re still seven points clear of that.
“We won’t over-egg it, because it is one win, but it was important to do that.”
